The World Was In Darkness

Blades clashed, jutsu fired, and blood was shed as each and every nation slaughtered one another. Battle after battle ensued to determine what would happen next in the world as every nation desired for the control of the legendary Bijuu, fueled by the desire to harness and use its power to impose their own laws and govern the world with an iron fist. One group, however, stood out among the great villages however; one that consisted of some of the founders and ancestors of the modern shinobi world.

This group was a mix of clans from the great villages of the world, led by one from the Uchiha, the other from the Senju. It was decided that in order for peace to govern the world, they must start anew and eviscerate the old. The war waged on, inevitably causing the fall of several notable villages such as Sunagakure, Konohagakure, and Iwagakure. Those that survived fled either assimulated into this strange group or into Kumogakure and Kirigakure.

It was rumored that this group had gained control of a Bijuu themselves in fact, sealing it away into a young boy that would hold the future of the world. Deciding to put aside their differences however, Kumogakure and Kirigakure allied with one another for one last bout, and together defeated this mysterious group. The world was thus thrust into an age of peace and recovery, Kumogakure and Kirigakure remaining as allies, at least for the time being.

Ten Years have passed, and the world has begun to recover greatly. Kumogakure and Kirigakure have remained stable with the help of one another, even holding annual events such as the Chuunin Exams, aimed to put shinobi against shinobi and test their skills in a set of bouts. Peace appeared to have finally rule the land. However, it is rumored that in a far off land, the group that once ruled ten years ago had re-emerged. That they have recruited members alongside their new leaders – an Uzumaki and a boy said to be a Jinchuuriki. It is said that the group likely desired to achieve what its former leaders aimed for.

Will this era of peace remain? Will Kumogakure and Kirigakure remain allied and hold what they call 'peace', or will their bonds fracture and lead into another war? Will the rumored group bring about the destruction of these two pillars of civilization?
